Just as it takes faith to believe in God’s creation apart from natural means (after all, things visible being created by things invisible is incompatible with a naturalistic worldview), it takes faith to take God’s promises at His word. Being confident of the things we hope for and knowing the things we can’t see is the basis for living for God by faith. This doesn’t mean that evidence isn’t available to attest to the truth, it just means that we don’t trust our observational power more than we trust God’s Word. Estar confiado de lo que es nuestra esperanza y conocer las cosas que no podemos ver es la base de una vida vivida para Dios por fe. No significa que no hayan evidencias por lo que es la verdad, simplemente significa que no confiamos más es nuestra habilidad para observar que en la Palabra de Dios. Otro buenísimo ejemplo de lo invisible creando lo visible es la obra del Espíritu Santo convirtiendo al pecador en un santo, que vive una vida drásticamente (y visiblemente) transformada.
